Laura excels in the ever-changing online environment of social media, web content and blogging. Her passion for compelling communications drives her to stay knowledgeable about current best practices, new trends and proven ways to reach audiences. Exhibiting strategic knowledge and judgment, Laura enjoys economic development trends and understanding what speaks to this audience and encourages engaging in conversation.
Working with some of the strongest and well-known business brands in Orlando, the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, the Central Florida Expressway Authority, Broad and Cassel and Florida Hospital, in addition to Lockheed Martin and tourism clients in Los Angeles, Laura has experience with virtually every type of public relations campaign from corporate culture changes to crisis, consumer trust initiatives to educational campaigns, public service outreach to forming a grassroots branding community, and the list goes on.
Laura earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida. She has been a board member of the Florida Public Relations Association’s Orlando Area Chapter since graduation, apart from her 3 years spent tackling the PR and social media scene in Los Angeles. As an active participant of many Orlando tech and startup meetups, Laura also serves on the board of the Orlando Tech Association. In 2013, Laura earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR).
